Statistical Analysis of COVID-19 Data: Using A New Univariate and Bivariate Statistical Model

چکیده
In this paper, a new distribution named as unit-power Weibull (UPWD) defined on interval (0,1) is introduced using an appropriate transformation to the positive random variable of distribution. This work offers quantile function, linear representation density, ordinary and incomplete moments, moment-generating probability-weighted L -moments, TL-moments, Rényi entropy, MLE estimation. Additionally, several actuarial measures are computed. The real data applications carried out underline practical usefulness model. addition, bivariate extension for univariate power (BIUPWD) also configured. To elucidate extension, simulation analysis application COVID-19-associated fatality rate from Italy Belgium conform BIUPW with visual depictions presented.
